Housing Disrepair Team Leader – Liverpool or Manchester
BCL Legal is working with a respected, specialist law firm with offices in both Liverpool and Manchester, who are looking to appoint an experienced Housing Disrepair Team Leader to oversee a busy and growing department.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior housing disrepair fee earner with proven leadership skills to step into a role with genuine influence, where you’ll manage a talented team, drive performance, and ensure exceptional client service.
The Role
- Lead and manage a team of housing disrepair fee earners and support staff.
- Supervise caseloads, offering technical guidance and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
- Monitor KPIs and performance targets, identifying training needs and development opportunities.
- Oversee quality control and risk management within the department.
- Handle a reduced personal caseload of complex matters.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to departmental growth strategies.
About You
- Experienced housing disrepair lawyer or senior fee earner with strong technical expertise.
- Proven experience supervising and developing a team.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to drive performance and efficiency.
