About Camden
Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all.
How You’ll Be Involved
In the Private Sector Housing Service, part of the Homes and Communities Directorate, your main goal is to elevate standards in Camden's private rented sector. This role empowers you to leverage a full suite of enforcement tools—from HMO licensing to improvement notices and even Banning Orders—to address substandard housing. Additionally, you'll promote grants and landlord accreditation as effective alternatives, all aimed at enhancing the private housing landscape in Camden, with a strong focus on rental properties.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
