About The Role
We are looking for a confident and conscientious individual to undertake the role of Housing Management Apprentice. The post will start September 2025.
This role is responsible for providing an efficient, comprehensive, and caring tenancy and estate management service to all tenants and leaseholders without favour or bias. The post holder will deal with individual issues that residents have, assisting them in accordance with Council policy.
You will maintain accurate information on the Council’s housing management data system on tenancy issues relating to individual properties/tenants, and using customer services as a tool for managing case work.
You will also take phone calls, visit residents in their homes and deal with initial enquiries from residents, answering questions in relation to tenancy and estate management. You should be comfortable with escalating more complicated issues to the relevant officer. This role involves a large amount of data entry and therefore you must be accurate and pay high attention to detail.

Additional Information
- This post requires a standard DBS check.
- This post is fixed term for 24 months depending on apprenticeship level
- Please note the salary quoted is based on full time hours (37 hours).
- It is usual for successful candidates to start at the bottom of the pay grade.
