This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Housing Supply Team Leader to develop and maintain a range of new and continuing sources of good quality private sector and other types of housing supply, locally, regionally and nationally for accepted homeless households and prevention cases on behalf of the Housing Needs service.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and innovative officer who can work with the Housing Supply Team to deliver a high-quality performing customer focussed front line service. We want a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who has an understanding of housing supply in the private and public sectors and the requirements to enter a tenancy.
The successful candidate will need to be able to negotiate and work with private sector landlords, housing associations and mobility schemes. They will need to be able to manage and maintain records and ongoing enquiries from customers and the Housing Needs service as well as offer joint admin and business support to the team.
This post requires at least 3 days based in the office and a driving licence, ideally with access to their own car.
