About The Role
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and compliance-focused HR Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for people, process, and precision, looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the effective and fully compliant management of HR administration across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of HR administration in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
Provide accurate and timely support throughout the employment lifecycle and employee relations processes
Maintain, update, and audit HR systems and employee records
Manage reference requests and third-party correspondence
Attend and minute confidential HR meetings
Maintain and organise the HR mailbox and filing systems
Track and monitor DBS checks and visa renewals
Prepare documentation for DSARs
Generate ad hoc HR reports as required
Provide first-line policy advice and guidance
Support and take ownership of HR projects, including process automation and improvement initiatives
Collaborate with internal departments and build strong stakeholder relationships
Person Specification
Essential
Previous experience in HR or administrative roles
Familiarity with HRM systems and Excel
Excellent organisation and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities
Right to work in the UK
Professional, articulate, and able to maintain confidentiality
Desirable (but Not Essential)
Experience in the Children’s Social Care sector
Understanding of OFSTED/CQC compliance and Safer Recruitment
Knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and sector-specific recruitment practices
Awareness of anti-discrimination and equal opportunities legislation
