Our People team are looking for an experience HR Business Partner to join the them.
We have a team of dedicated and talented HR professionals, taking responsibility for all “people” aspects of the business. This includes the whole employee life cycle, from attracting new joiners, on-boarding, development throughout their career, ensuring they work in a balanced and healthy way, supporting them when needed, enabling efficient and effective processes throughout, every day, for their entire journey at Baringa.

As we continue to grow organically, we need to ensure our people processes are set up to enable the future size and shape of the business to operate effectively and efficiently, using the appropriate tools. Supporting the ever-evolving business needs and being a key player in the change management of the firm, is a core part of this role.
What You Will Be Doing
- Be the principle HRBP for one of our sectors looking after the full breadth of their people agenda.
- HRBP roles at Baringa are very broad, so there will be plenty of scope to operate across a range of different activities, including Performance Management, Wellness, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Promotions, Salary reviews and People MI.
- You will develop and own the sector-specific People Plan for your client group and be accountable for ensuring progress against this, including engaging with other parts of HR, including Reward, Recruitment and L&D.
- You will need to build trusted relationships and provide hands-on support to Partner Lead(s) in helping them deliver the people elements of their business plans. You will work very closely with your Sector People Partner and Sector Lead as key stakeholders to help them enable the People elements of their sector strategy.
- You will be able to effectively support and advise people managers with a range of experience.
- You will be managing a HR Advisor supporting your sector, as well as potentially overseeing some other junior team members.
- You are likely to support some colleagues outside the UK, and you will need to be able to flex your approach to accommodate different cultures and jurisdictional requirements.
Your Skills And Experience
- Experience within HR, and ideally within a HRBP/HR Generalist role.
- CIPD qualification would be desirable.
- Proficient knowledge of Human Resource Management best practice.
- Employee relations experience is must - you must be able to manage a range of ER cases independently.
- Great team player, who works collaboratively to achieve goals and objectives. Comfortable being a sounding board for complex situations from others in the team.
- An excellent communicator who can help develop good HR practice with a strong stakeholder management capability, to interact effectively with the appropriate management teams as well as the wider business at Baringa.
- Comfortableness working through ambiguity and areas of the HRBP role you may not have come across before.
