This high-level position goes beyond traditional HR administrative functions, acting as a key strategic advisor who transforms
human capital potential into organisational excellence. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive HR strategies that align with the council's overarching goals, drive organisational performance, and create a dynamic, resilient, and inclusive workplace culture.
Key elements of the role include leading HR projects, driving organisational change, and enhancing employee engagement and performance.
You will have an in-depth knowledge of employment legislation and best practice including a thorough understanding of current human resources issues at a local and national level. Employee relations, employment law, HR policies and procedures and strategic HR management principles and practices.
Extensive experience in a HR business partnering role, you will have a track record of leading HR projects and managing organisational change.
