HR Project Manager – SAP Success Factors

Contract type: Full time, 35 hours per week on a FTC for 2yrs

Milton Keynes – Hybrid

Band 8 Salary Starting from £56,816 - £71,000 dependent on experience + Car + Bonus

Closing date: 17/7/2025 however we reserve the right to close earlier if there is a high volume of suitable applications

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Project Manager on a fixed term contract (FTC) to lead the successful execution and delivery of the SAP SuccessFactors implementation as part of our global HR transformation programme.

This project will change the way our HR team and UK colleagues engage with core HR systems as well as deliver changes to our people processes and people experience covering everything from hiring, talent management and learning and development. We are looking for someone to join our team for 2 years to play a key role driving change from a UK HR perspective, collaborating with international stakeholders across the wider Volkswagen Group.

What will you be doing:

  • Working collaboratively with the Senior Project Manager, IT colleagues, local and global stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts across our HR Team, you’ll lead the programme delivery from a HR workstream perspective, ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are identified and addressed.
  • Planning, executing, monitoring and embedding HR project deliverables in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Delivering programme governance, reporting and compliance with business cases and milestones.
  • Managing interdependencies with other workstreams and ensure alignment with wider business objectives.
  • Representing the local VWFS UK project in cross-functional forums, ensuring HR needs are met.
  • Supporting implementation, rollout and ongoing improvement of HR processes and systems. Where appropriate you will work with Supplier Management and SMEs to identify and onboard any new services required as part of the project.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale HR transformation projects using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments.
  • Previous experience managing HR projects with IT and user experience components.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and the ability to work across legal, technical and operational teams.

The following would be desirable but not essential:

  • Experience using SAP SuccessFactors from a user perspective.
  • Knowledge of the SAP SuccessFactors technical product suite and integration capabilities.

Hybrid Working:

As part of our hybrid working arrangements, we are giving our colleagues the opportunity to work a minimum of one day in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected, and you can work in the office more if you'd prefer. The hybrid working policy can be applied differently at departmental level as the role requires. We would also expect new colleagues joining us to work from the office for the entirety of their training period until competent in role.
