Responsibilities
- Work with the M&G HR Leadership Team to develop an agreed strategy and approach to managing the pending EU Pay Transparency Directive, presenting options, analysis and recommendations;
- Develop a project plan and timeline to implementing the agreed strategy and manage the implementation of the changes required;
- Work with applicable areas (Resourcing, Communications, Reward etc.) to ensure that M&G's communications to candidates are where applicable updated in line with agreed changes to pay and resourcing strategy;
- Develop a solution and process for ensuring that the company is in a position to accurately and effectively assess, report and respond to ad hoc requests on our pay arrangements - this will involve working with the business to understand different role categories, assessing the job architecture framework, reviewing job and pay data across identified markets/on a global basis as determined etc.
- Ensure M&G is in a position to effectively respond to colleague questions and data requests on pay;
- Identify and manage third party supplier relationships and services procured related to the EU PTD as applicable
- Identify and implement updates to HR and other policies and communications as and where necessary;
- Provide training and guidance on the Directive requirements and on updates to HR policies and processes to HR and the business;
- Build excellent working relationships with all stakeholders to navigate the changes required;
- Ensure that solutions designed and implemented are effectievly tailored to the company's context and priorities;
- From time to time provide support and input to wider HR/Reward priorities and workstreams.
Experience / Skills
- Substantial experience across one or more areas of Human Resources within a complex global corporate environment;
- Working knowledge and experience of pay equity and other related reporting approaches;
- Ideally some experience or exposure to job architecture and/or pay benchmarking;
- Track record of having successfully delivered significant and complex workstreams/projects, ideally across several geographies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to navigate and interpret complex and large-scale data sets;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and to foster collaboration across a wide range of issues;
- Highly effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to present focused and impactful papers and present effectively to senior management;
