HSEQ Advisor

• Strong package with salary and car/allowance
• Mon to Fri, 8 - 5PM, or 7 - 4PM
• Home based with travel across client sites within Central London & South - Berkshire, Herts, Hampshire, Essex, Kent, Sussex
• Approx 50/50 split between WFH and travel

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers are looking to recruit a seasoned HSEQ practitioner within the Facilities space to join a central Health & Safety team, from where you would provide cutting edge HSEQ support across a range of FM contracts within

Healthcare, Banking, Government and Education contracts.

Providing HSEQ support across Engineering Maintenance, Cleaning, Security and Catering services lines, plus some Building Project Work you will also build a number of relationships within key Account stakeholders

It is key you have the confidence and experience to own and manage your region from a HSEQ perspective, being capable of identifying issues and coming up with practical solutions

You will however have strong support from an established and skilled H&S team, led by a senior manager and a fully integrated HSEQ system

This is a fantastic role for a established HSEQ professional to join a market leader in the built environment space.

Actions will include:

• Support, coach and mentor the Accounts within your region on HSEQ matters and provide competent HSEQ advice, using a business partnering approach
• Internally audit on Accounts within you region, using a risk based approach
• Lead the incident investigation lifecycle on Level 3 and 4 incidents
• Provide oversight and governance on Level 1 and 2 incidents
• Facilitate the successful deployment of key HSEQ Strategic objectives such as the SafeChoice program, Permit to Work processes and the Lone Working Solution
• Understand where the significant risk areas are within your region, including statutory compliance, food safety and
• projects
• Where required, liaise and interact with customers to enable HSEQ improvements
• Where required, liaise and interact with other third parties such as Local Authorities, HSE and Environment Agency
• Be a primary point of contact for selected accounts
• Work closely and flexibly with other HSEQ Business Partners to facilitate success

We need from you:

• Clear, strong HSEQ experience within the Facilities space
• Nebosh General minimum
• CDM knowledge would be useful
