HR Advisor (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Southend-On-Sea (with occasional travel across other sites in Essex)

Are you an HR Advisor who loves rolling up your sleeves and making things happen? My client is on the lookout for a hands-on HR Advisor to join their People team and bring real employment relations expertise to the table.

What you’ll be doing:

• Being the go-to HR advisor for Line Managers – from tricky casework to day-to-day HR support.
• Handling full casework end-to-end, with solid knowledge of employment law.
• Building strong relationships with managers, staff, and unions.
• Acting as a trusted advisor across multiple sites – Head Office in Southend with occasional travel to other campuses.
• Supporting mental health initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
• Proven experience managing full ER casework in a public sector environment
• Comfortable working with unions and staff at all levels
• A proactive, “can-do” attitude – someone who can crack on and get things done
