The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion.
Alongside our engineering and technical teams we are powered by our support services, one of which is a collaborative, creative and dedicated HR Team. The HR team in Pitstone supports the full Employee Lifecycle from Recruitment, through Onboarding, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, Payroll and Benefits and Employee Offboarding. The team also support things like Site Communications, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and Employee Events as well as a host of other activities like our STEM Ambassador Program, Employee Wellbeing, and Charity Partnerships.
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in developing a career in Human Resources to join us as an HR Apprentice. The successful candidate will complete a level 3 qualification in HR Support which gives an excellent grounding in Human Resources and the skills and knowledge required, including HR Processes, HR Systems, HR Policies, and HR Legislation. This course will involve around 1 day a month at Milton Keynes College during term time alongside on the job training and assessment. Following completion of the qualification you could be eligible to apply for Associate Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).
The Role
As an HR Apprentice at Safran Electrical & Power Ltd, you will be embedded in the HR team and responsible for providing administrative HR support to the HR Team, Managers, and Employees, whilst ensuring the efficiency of the HR process and practices and applications of policies.
