General Dynamics in St Leonards-on-Sea currently provide avionic mission computing systems for a wide range of military fast jets, helicopters, and UAV’s. Recent success has resulted in General Dynamics developing the next generation of Advanced High Performance, Safety Critical Mission Computer Systems to meet the needs of latest platforms in development by several aircraft manufacturers. These Mission Computing Systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft systems, sensor systems and stores management systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet the demanding operational needs of these aircraft.

Day To Day Activities Will Include
- Partner with leaders to provide expertise in areas such as employee relations, performance, and strategic resource planning
- Drive initiatives that foster a high-performance culture and strengthen leadership capability.
- Coach and mentor managers, enhancing their ability to lead people effectively and navigate HR matters with confidence.
- Lead key talent initiatives
- Manage complex HR cases and change initiatives, balancing strategic objectives with positive employee outcomes.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
- Experience: HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Education: Degree in Business, HR, or related field; CIPD qualification is a plus.
- Expertise: Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR policy design, and strategic HR delivery.
- Skills:
- Influential communicator and relationship-builder.
- Strong problem-solver with analytical and project management skills.
- Confident advisor and coach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Also
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Oracle).
- Background in supporting organizational change and people transformation initiatives.
Additional Information
This role has a salary of between £55,600 and £69,500 depending on experience plus our flexible benefits package and bonus.
This role currently has a requirement to work on-site a min of 3 days per week.
Relocation assistance may be available for qualifying UK based applicants to move closer to our site.
