Human Resources Business Partner

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team. This role is critical in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while also driving recruitment, HR system administration, employee development and engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders to deliver efficient HR operations and foster a supportive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities：

Employee Lifecycle & Process Management

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including new hire documentation, induction sessions, and right-to-work checks
• Coordinate internal mobility processes, including transfers, promotions, and probation reviews
• Oversee offboarding processes such as exit interviews, final payroll coordination, and leaver documentation

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruitment plans
• Post vacancies, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and provide feedback
• Support the onboarding of new hires to ensure a smooth integration experience

HRIS & Records Management

• Maintain and update the HR Information System
• Ensure accuracy of employee records and support data integrity for audits and reporting
• Generate regular HR reports for absence, turnover, and compliance metrics

Leave & Absence Management

• Oversee holiday requests and entitlement tracking
• Manage sickness, maternity/paternity, and other statutory or company leave types in line with UK employment law. Liaise with payroll and managers to ensure proper leave handling and records

Employment Contracts & Compliance

• Manage employment contracts, contract variations, and other HR documentation
• Ensure all HR documentation is legally compliant and regularly updated in line with UK employment legislation. Maintain digital and physical personnel files

Employee Development & Growth

• Coordinate learning and development activities, including mandatory and skills-based training
• Support performance review cycles and employee development plans
• Work with managers to identify high-potential talent and succession planning opportunities

Employee Wellbeing & Engagement

• Implement employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
• Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) programmes
• Act as a point of contact for employee relations queries and escalate complex issues where necessary

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, HR Advisor, or HRBP
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
• Experience managing HR systems and reporting tools
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially

Desirable Requirements:

• CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above)
• Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven or multinational environment
• Knowledge of employee wellbeing or learning & development initiatives
