We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner based in Redditch with hybrid working available. The position is initially offered on a 12 month full time contract / temporary basis.

The Human Resources Business Partner contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and the recruitment and ongoing development of a dynamic and motivated workforce.

Make an impact

• Provide first line support for line managers, staff and external contacts and to regularly meet line managers to discuss issues and support as and when required
• Support managers in the recruitment of their staff advising on the most appropriate recruitment methods, manage the relationship with the talent acquisition team, agencies, web-based recruitment providers and attending interviews where appropriate
• Involvement with UK and regional strategic human resources improvement initiatives
• Attend regular meetings with the UK senior management team
• Ensure the performance management process is enforced and objectives are set for all employees
• To keep appraised of changes to new working practices and changes in legislation and ensure where appropriate managers are briefed of these changes. Assist with updating policies and procedures as required
• Work with marketing to promote employee welfare & wellbeing
• Complete regional reports including fluctuation analysis, headcount analysis and vacancy reports

What you need to succeed

• Previous human resource experience as a Human Resources Business Partner / Human Resources Manager or similar role
• Human resource related qualifications / CIPD
• Experience of managing the end to end recruitment process
• Experience of performance management and annual salary review process
• An industry background in engineering or technology companies would be an advantage but not essential
• Strong information technology skills including MS Office and HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors
• Willing to travel occasionally to customer sites in the UK
