HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Bourdon House, Dunhill’s flagship store, is a dynamic and multi-dimensional business covering retail, events and much more. We require an experienced specialist for our Humidor to ensure we offer an exceptional Humidor experience to our clients, drive the Humidor business forward in relation to the market and ensure seamless back-of-house operations – ultimately contributing to an elevated experience for Dunhill clients.
Sales & Client Management
The job holder is responsible for supporting all aspects of the humidor's operation. They are fully accountable for delivering meaningful outcomes, always working to the highest standards and with a focus on:
- Leading Humidor sales in line with Humidor targets
- Participate in daily meetings and ensure close communication with retail team on opportunities
- Proactively refer clients to other areas of the business
- Ensure standards and client experience are consistently high
- Grow client book and ensure consistent outreach to clients with product updates and events
- Provide training to retail team members to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and encourage referrals within the business
Inventory & Operations
- Maintain up to date and accurate records of Keeps and establish effective method of communication with Keep holders and store operations
- Manage stock effectively – monthly cycle counts, audits, organise shipping (domestic and internationally)
- Complete weekly sales report, providing accurate information and insight to help grow business
- Maintain merchandising, in line with store standards, ensuring stock presentation is fresh and commercially driven at all times
- Proactively communicate stock issues/stock loss with Store Manager and Stock Manager
Marketing & Events
- Work as an ambassador for the brand within the local community and at events.
- Lead the planning and execution of events within the Humidor
- Develop relationships with aligned brands to help drive business e.g. Hunters and Frankau
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Previous experience of working in Cigar industry
- Knowledge of stock care and maintenance processes, including experience of overseeing ‘Keeps’
- Previous experience of supervising a retail business in the luxury sector, preferably with an international clientele
- Thorough understanding of care & maintenance process of stock
- Understanding of humidifying process.
- Extensive knowledge of cigars and cigar industry
- Professional working approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Passion for the brand / the ability to enthuse clients about the brand
