We are looking to recruit an Operator within our Hygiene department who will play a key role in maintaining an efficient running of production lines at Redruth site. If you are looking for an exciting career we would like to hear from you!

Working Hours will be Monday- Friday 15:00pm - 00:00am

You will be required to undertake the following (this is not an Exhaustive List):

• Set up, changeover and operate machinery and other equipment in the area within standard operating procedures to achieve required outputs and quality
• Carry out a range of manual tasks and activities and ensure all tasks are finished within permitted time frames
• Check and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specifications
• To collect and issue PPE and clothing when needed
• Operate the washing machine to clean specified production equipment following the correct procedures
• Operate high pressure water guns for cleaning operations
• Place roll top waste bins on each line and empty as required
• Wash and clean floors in all areas of the Factory as necessary
• Transport stillages, dolavs and racks to wash bay from packing halls and Pressing area as necessary for cleaning and return to appropriate departments
• Empty waste containers from production departments as necessary
• Refill soap and towel containers in packing and production areas
  
  

The Successful Candidate Will Have Or Be Able To

• General good health and fitness
• Previous factory cleaning experience an advantage
• Ability to work independently
• Practical/manual handling skills
• Basic H&S awareness
• Knowledge of COSHH
