About This Opportunity
Cumberland Council is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
ICT Programme Assistant to support the delivery of a dynamic portfolio of ICT projects across Cumberland Council, Westmorland & Furness Council, and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service.
About The Role
As part of the
ICT Programme Management Office, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the delivery of ICT projects that drive innovation and improve services across our organisation. You�ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to project planning, performance reporting, and resource scheduling. You may also take ownership of specific projects or elements within the wider portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the effective management and governance of ICT projects.
- Maintain accurate project data and performance reports.
- Assist in scheduling resources and coordinating project delivery.
- Provide administrative support including procurement, data analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Programme Management Office tools and processes.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is available on a fixed-term basis.
