Your team
Executing multi-asset trades and handling day-to-day transaction needs for IG Prime's institutional clients, which aids in deeper relationships and drives more trading activity.
Your role in the Team's Success
As an Institutional Sales Trader, you will be right in the thick of IG Prime's growing B2B and B2B2C client base. You will be exposed to hedge funds, family offices, asset managers, as well as IBs and broker/banks that access IG as their LPs. Your role is to provide best-in-class trading and support to our institutional client base. This includes being involved in the onboarding journey of these clients alongside and supporting the Sales teams across IGs offices, to trading, maintaining and developing these relationships. You will be these clients' "go-to" for their day-to-day needs, from trading queries to setting up new product requests and much more.

- You will be provided full training on usage of L2/DMA/Algos and other dealing systems to execute trades on behalf of clients and be required to pass a Trade execution test.
- You will learn how to trade and provide best execution for clients across multi asset classes with a primary focus on equity trading.
- You will learn about financial markets and support our sophisticated clients with their trading strategies, event driven, long/short, macro etc.
- You will be exposed to many other departments in IG and work closely with Dealing Desks, COAC, Risk, Middle Office/settlements and more.
What You'll Need For This Role
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of IG's product offering
- Have 2-3 years of Sales Trading experience, preferably across Multi-Asset execution and DMA execution
- Be able to work calmly under pressure and demonstrate good decision-making within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills – the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
- Self-motivation and organisation – the ability to manage your own time and task list effectively
- A strong interest in trading the financial markets & some knowledge of the financial markets.
