As a Project Manager you will typically lead 3-5 complex, concurrent software implementations onboarding new clients to our channel success platform. You recognise that implementations are not just about scope, schedule and budget tracking but rapidly creating value for our enterprise customers.
What you will be doing:
- Create detailed work plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project. Tracks project progress and assesses and mitigates risk throughout the effort, from pre- sales to hand off to operations.
- Lead client facing kick off sessions to educate clients on the implementation methodology and client responsibilities, creating a shared vision of project success and related success metrics.
- Identify client needs that may arise and vary from core product functionality, and works to find creative solutions to meet business objectives. Liaises with technical and operational teams to understand and establish any dependencies for client desired features or services and works to incorporate into project planning.
- Maintain high quality documentation over the life of a project, with a focus on utility over depth.
- Ensure that customer provides acceptances over the life of the project
- Lead regular project discussions with customers and project teams to review work plans, risks, actions, issues, and decisions in an effort to drive projects to completion. Coordinate internal and external resources to foster timely problem solving and communication.
- Navigate project escalations adeptly by quickly mobilizing resources, identifying alternatives, facilitating decisions processes and bringing issues to resolution.
- Lead acceptance and deployment processes with the client, facilitates pre-launch go-no-go decisions and ensures hand off to operations procedures are complete.
- Conduct post live assessments and lessons learned sessions to inform process improvement activities.
- Collect customer and peer feedback to gauge success of the project and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to identify and document project planning artifacts and approaches that will set new projects up for success and minimize time to value for customers. Provides SOW input as required.
- Support the development of processes and tools that reduce the amount of time required deliver solutions and increase client success and channel adoption.
- Manage multiple project implementations at different stages of the process simultaneously
What you will bring:
- 5 years + of relevant project management experience
- Experiences in a software/SAAS solution project management role, preferably client facing.
- MS office proficient, with advanced MS Excel skills
- Prior experience working for a software company is valuable
- Proficient with project management tools
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track-record of building client relationships at all levels of the client organization
- Increased hours during implementation peak times are expected.
- A natural problem solver with a love for technology that can work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
