Description

We are partnering with a global investment manager looking for an ambitious private funds Associate to join their London team. The client are adding headcount to their Hybrid Solutions funds team at a time of significant, sustained growth across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior funds lawyer to join a rapidly growing team and be mentored by a well respected MD in a Tier 1 buy-side operator.

Responsibilities:

Cover a broad private funds mandate across evergreen, UCI Part II, broader UCITS and other hybrid structures
Support MD in London and investment counterparts across the EMEA and APAC parts of the business

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ PQE in England & Wales and in good standing with the SRA
Demonstrable track record in a ranked funds practice - with strength across private markets funds, including: distribution agreements, evergreen funds and UCI Part II (highly desirable).
Strong academic track record
Excellent negotiation skills
Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
Must be willing to work in the office 5 days a week
