Description

We're expanding our established internal focused Procurement team and looking for an experienced commercial contracts lawyer to help drive our in-house procurement service forward.

As part of a dynamic, centralised team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's operations and strategic growth, working closely with commercial colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Do:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts of varying value and complexity
Collaborate with procurement teams and stakeholders to secure favourable contract terms and ensure compliance
Advise on data privacy issues, including data processing agreements and cross-border transfers
Support the development of commercial colleagues within the procurement team
Identify and implement improvements to contracting processes and policies
Work with the Office of General Counsel and Information Security teams on due diligence and compliance
Provide proactive legal support to enable informed decision-making and effective risk management

Who We're Looking For

UK qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE and significant in-house experience (ideally in procurement or commercial roles)
Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including technology and procurement agreements
Strong understanding of commercial law, data protection, and risk management
Ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
