SunSystems Q&A 11 Reporting Specialist
London (2x a week)
6 month contract
£350 - £400 per day inside IR35
SystemsAccountants are currently working for a SunSystems client to assist in the search of a Q&A 11 Reporting Specialist to support our client’s broader project team. The organisation currently utilise Infor SunSystems as their general ledger system. The considerable growth in the group over recent years has prompted the need for a more streamlined and modern Chart of Accounts (CoA) Structure to ensure consistent financial data across all legal entities. As a result, they are undertaking a strategic initiative to restructure the CoA and re-implement Sun. This role will support this initiative by focusing on Q&A 11 report development, rewriting reports to align with the new ledger structure. This position is essential for facilitating the project’s success and contributing to the company’s strategic goals.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and rewrite Q&A 11 reports to align with the new Chart of Accounts and Sun transactional dimension structure.
- Create and execute test scripts to validate Q&A report functionality and accuracy
- Collaborate with finance teams to analyse documented reporting requirements
- Collaborate with the project team to conduct requirements gathering workshops and validate reporting requirements against the functionality of Sun
- Provide training and support to finance teams on the use of new Q&A reports and reporting tools.
- Assist in preparing reports and data extracts to support finance teams in performing reconciliations.
- Document report specifications, test results, and user guides for finance system users.
- Support the project team with UAT planning, coordination, and execution.
- Working towards project deadlines and providing progress updates to project manager.
- Assist the project team with any other project-related tasks as required.
Role Requirements
- Previous experience with Infor Sun Systems version 6.4
- Experience in Q&A 11 reporting
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and controls.
- Experience with SAP Concur, B4B and Bank Rec is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and support end users effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
