BAM currently require a dedicated Information Manager. The role will ensure all documentation created by the team within the ProjectWise system are correctly administered. This will bring improvement in Quality control, efficiencies in time spent of design task and improvements in ensuring correct storage of design related information for the TW CoE team.

Purpose: To plan, implement and manage the use of digital tools to capture, share and use information to enhance project delivery. This role is responsible for both model information management and systems infrastructure information management.

Your mission

As Information Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Has detailed knowledge of client and business requirements and expectations ensuring that the appropriate plans, specifications, reviews and controls are in place.
  • Collaborate with IT and DC Vendor Manager to ensure the simplification of systems and work methods that are fit for purpose and efficient. Identify opportunities for improvement through implementation of DC tools
  • Working knowledge of relevant sections of applicable industry standards, codes of practice, company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Maintain high safety and environmental standards in accordance with company policies and report any inadequacies.
  • Establish and implement systems for the management, sharing and storage of project information according to required protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support compliance with contractual obligations with respect to information management.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are compliant with information management protocols and procedures and address any non-compliance.
  • Report at project/team meetings.
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure that data exchange between software/hardware systems are verified to ensure data integrity is maintained.
  • Establish project/team production methods and procedures are up to date and followed
  • Establish and manager information delivery teams, and task teams as the project demands.
  • Ensure the security of all the information disseminated and stored in the systems. This also includes archiving and disposal of project information.
  • Prepare and provide reports, analysis and forecasting as required.
  • Verify that the responsibility matrix is complete and agreed by all parties.
  • Work with project team, clients/employers and third parties to ensure comprehension of information requirements, manage expectations and delivery.
  • Provide training where required on all aspects of information management to all stakeholders across the project/team.

Who are we looking for?

  • Ability to motivate a team and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
  • Good management and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in digital construction management/document management.
  • Understanding of the design and construction industry and the tendering process.
  • Ability to contribute to prequalification and tender submissions.
  • Experience working on construction projects with experience in DC.
  • Educational Background: Higher Education in Construction or related fields
