About The Role
Be part of this ‘once in a generation’ project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O’Rourke.
We are more than just an alliance, we are bringing together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.
What you'll be doing
The Sizewell C (SZC) project requires an Information and Data Manager who will play a pivotal role in the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) Information Management functional team, leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the project’s Information Management (IM) strategy in alignment with ISO 19650 and ISO 27001 standards. This role ensures robust information governance, seamless integration of data systems, and supports the project’s Data Strategy by fostering data-driven decision-making. The Information and Data Manager collaborates closely with CWA IT Data lead and their team, project stakeholders, and the Common Data Environment (CDE) systems CWP Lead (e.g, Asite, 3D Repo, Assurance Software platforms, Bentley ProjectWise, SZC) to deliver high-quality information flows and analytics. The role includes pursuing a Data Science qualification, such as through a recognised UK Data Science apprenticeship programme, to enhance capabilities in data analytics and strategic insight generation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficient flow of all project information, leading the Document Control Team and rigorously enforcing the information management procedures and processes of both the Sizewell C project and the Civil Works Alliance (CWA). The Information and Data Manager will be at the heart of the project's information ecosystem, responsible for the governance, strategy, and operational delivery of all data and documentation.
