Information Security Manager

The Opportunity

Nigel Wright is excited to be supporting this growing enterprise scale business, committed to innovation, safety, and sustainability in seeking a strategic and hands-on Information Security Manager to lead their cyber security operations. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape security strategy, lead a skilled team, and ensure our systems and data are protected against evolving threats.

The company operates a hybrid working policy where you will be in the office c. 3 days a week.

The Role

As Information Security Manager, you will:

Lead Security Strategy & Policy Development

Implement and maintain ISO27001, Cyber Essentials & CE+, and data protection compliance across the organisation.

Manage Risk & Compliance

Oversee security audits, regulatory compliance, and risk assessments to ensure robust protection of sensitive data.

Respond to Threats & Incidents

Develop and execute incident response plans, monitor threats, and coordinate swift, effective responses to breaches.

Collaborate Across Teams

Work closely with internal departments and external regulatory bodies to align security practices with industry standards.

Educate & Empower

Design and deliver cybersecurity training programs to raise awareness and build a security-first culture.

Report & Advise

Provide regular updates to senior leadership on security performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.

The Person

As an experienced Information/Cyber Security Manager you will possess a proven track record in leading a cyber security team. Being either CISSP or CISM qualified, you will have hands-on experience with ISO27001, GDPR, and network security tools.

You will also have:

• A deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and protocols
• Analytical problem-solving skills and an attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
