We seek an IT Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and a strong understanding of network and firewall architectures. This role plays a key part in supporting and maintaining our global IT infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability, while also contributing to project initiatives that align with our strategic goals.

Role Summary

In this role, you will provide day-to-day operational support for our Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and network environments, ensuring reliable services across our global offices. While the focus is on supporting and maintaining the current environment, you will also contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and enhancements. Your skills and experience will ensure our IT infrastructure operates smoothly, securely, and in alignment with business needs, enabling seamless communication and collaboration across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Defender services across all global offices.
• Maintain and optimise Microsoft 365 and Entra ID solutions to meet business requirements for security, performance, and scalability.
• Manage the onboarding, configuration, and lifecycle management of devices in Intune, ensuring compliance with security policies and operational standards.
• Administer and manage Microsoft Defender, ensuring protection policies are implemented, monitored, and maintained across all devices and environments.
• Administer and maintain the Azure-hosted environment, focusing on maximising efficiency, security, and functionality.
• Manage and support Active Directory and Entra ID, ensuring effective identity and access management across a hybrid infrastructure.
• Maintain, support, and enhance network and firewall architectures, including Fortinet switches and firewalls, applying best practices to safeguard systems and optimise performance.
• Proactively monitor IT systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure minimal downtime and disruption.
• Contribute to IT infrastructure improvement projects, working alongside project teams to deliver enhancements.
• Provide guidance and support to global office IT teams, ensuring consistent service delivery and compliance with IT policies and standards.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Entra ID, with the ability to implement, configure, and manage identity and access management solutions, ensuring security and compliance across the organisation.

Active Directory and Entra ID Management | Proficient |

• Strong skills in managing and optimising Active Directory and Entra ID, including synchronisation, group policy management, and user provisioning.

Intune Device Management & Onboarding | Expert |

• Skilled in enrolling, configuring, and managing devices within Microsoft Intune, ensuring compliance with organisational security policies and providing a seamless onboarding experience for end users.

Microsoft Defender Administration | Expert |

• Expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Defender solutions, including Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365, to provide advanced threat protection and security compliance.

Network & Firewall Architecture | Expert |

• Advanced understanding of network and firewall design and architecture, with hands-on experience in Fortinet switches and firewalls. Capable of developing, implementing, and optimising secure network strategies that support organisational needs.

Azure-hosted Environment Optimisation | Expert |

Qualifications

• Information Technology Qualifications, or related field, with significant experience in IT infrastructure support, focusing on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Fortinet networking.
• Proven track record in providing operational IT support within Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender environments.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet switches and firewalls, including configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple global offices, showing initiative and the capability to manage both support tasks and project contributions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing technical challenges and driving practical solutions.
