About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to lead and support the IT aspects of an office relocation from their existing three‑floor site in Brentford to a new two‑floor facility in Chiswick Park. You will be the primary technical resource onsite, responsible for decommissioning the old environment, commissioning the new one, and ensuring a seamless transition for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Office Relocation Support

  • Plan and execute the decommissioning of all IT hardware, software and network services in the three‑floor Brentford office.
  • Disable and archive legacy applications, licences and user profiles in the old site.
  • Coordinate delivery, installation and commissioning of systems in the two‑floor Chiswick Park office.

Technical Support & Maintenance

  • Respond to and resolve support requests (hardware, software, network) in both locations.
  • Install, configure and test computer systems, servers, printers and telecommunications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and data migration.
  • Document configurations, change‑control procedures and knowledge‑base articles.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Liaise directly with company Presidents and Directors to understand their requirements and minimise downtime.
  • Provide regular status updates, escalations and recommendations to senior management.

Resource Planning & Team Coordination

  • Act as the onsite lead, mentoring any junior staff or contractors.
  • Ensure health & safety and asset‑tracking procedures are followed throughout.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in an IT support role, ideally with at least one full office relocation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
  • Experience with server deployments, network cabling and VOIP systems.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and clear, client‑facing communication skills.
  • Confident working at C‑suite level (Presidents, Directors).

Desirable Certifications
