We’re looking for an enthusiastic
Internal Salesperson to join our Thermal (Cooling) Serviceteam in Bedford, United Kingdom. Provide timely quotations and follow-up information to customers after engineer visits, ensuring they understand our solutions and identifying opportunities to recommend relevant products and services. HVAC experience is a bonus but not essential—full training and support will be provided. This role offers an excellent pathway for a current HVAC technician or experienced internal service salesperson eager to advance their career in service sales and other areas of the Vertiv Business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and secure Thermal Management (Cooling) service opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Collaborate and support the Thermal and MES Service Sales teams, plus Area Sales Managers
- Review engineer reports and prepare cost sheets, quotations, and opportunity files
- Submit weekly and monthly forecasts and opportunity reports
- Ensure all quotations and sales activities comply with UK service procedures
- Log and update all opportunities in Oracle Sales Cloud accurately
- Attend internal sales meetings and events in our Bedford and other offices.
- Support the development of spares sales
- Liaison by telephone with internal and external customers, suppliers etc.
- Proactive liaison and negotiation with customers regarding follow up of outstanding quotations.
Qualifications
- HVAC experience preferred and/or Internal sales experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate: familiarity with Oracle Sales Cloud is advantageous
- Highly motivated, organised, and able to prioritise daily tasks
- Confident to engage with customers by phone and email
- Team player with a willingness to learn Vertiv way and complete training courses
- Basic understanding of business-critical applications
- Must have legal right to work in UK of own accord without any sponsorship or other requirements.

- Based near our Bedford office for an office-based role
- Primarily office-based work
- Occasional travel for training sessions, sales events
