Overview:

SystemsAccountants is working exclusively with a PE-backed Financial Services firm as they embark on a major data strategy initiative. As part of this programme, they are looking to expand their use of Power BI and bring on board an Insights Analyst to help drive data-led decision-making across the business.

The Role:

This is a business-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to develop insightful dashboards and reporting solutions that align with commercial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Design and build high-quality Power BI dashboards and data models
• Enhance data accessibility and visualisation across departments
• Promote best practice in Power BI use and data storytelling
• Contribute to the delivery of the firm’s wider data strategy

Key Requirements:

• Strong Power BI experience – dashboard development, DAX, and data modelling
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in Financial Services or a regulated environment preferred
• A finance qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or solid understanding of financial reporting would be highly beneficial
• Open to a range of experience levels – from developing analysts to seasoned professionals
