Position Title: Installation Manager
Reports to: Global Director of Order Fulfillment
FT/PT: Full-time US or UK applicants welcome
Position summary:
The Installation Manager will lead the deployment of our groundbreaking upright radiation therapy systems at customer sites worldwide. This role requires frequent domestic (U.S.) and international travel. Working closely with the Order Fulfillment team, the Installation Manager will ensure installations are executed efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of experience managing complex medical device installations, including Merge-in-Transit delivery models, and will thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization. Experience in a start-up business is highly desirable. This individual must be an exceptional communicator, a collaborative leader, solutions-oriented, and capable of building and scaling a high-performing installation team as Leo Cancer Care continues to grow.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead on-site installation activities for all LCC equipment at customer locations.
• Coordinate and allocate installation resources to support project timelines.
• Schedule personnel and balance multiple priorities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure installations are completed on schedule, within budget, and to specification.
• Maintain accurate Installation Records for all installed products.
• Provide installation progress updates to the Project Manager and LCC leadership.
• Maintain accurate forecasting data in Salesforce CLM to support revenue planning.
• Manage third-party installation and rigging contractors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve site readiness or technical issues.
• Own the development and coordination of installation manuals, including content creation, document review, and release processes.
• Partner with the Client Delivery Project Manager to ensure installation resources align with project deliverables.
• Develop and refine installation timelines and resource plans for upcoming projects and escalate challenges proactively.
• Maintain timely and complete records for installations, expenses, time sheets, non-conformances, and deviations across the team.
• Provide feedback to Site Planning and Engineering for continuous product improvement.
• Demonstrate and foster strong leadership skills; support team development and technical competency.
• Ensure all LCC installation sites meet health and safety requirements at all times.
• Assist with pre-installation site preparation and inspections.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:
• 5+ years of experience leading complex medical device installations in a highly regulated, fast-paced environment.
• STEM background strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and system/electrical schematics.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively across functions.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams at varying levels of experience.
• Salesforce experience highly desirable, including the ability to train team members and ensure Salesforce remains the single source of truth for cases, work orders, and site completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; influential and clear communicator.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the U.S. and internationally on short notice. Valid passport and driver’s license required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
• Effective negotiating skills and strong logical, structured problem-solving abilities.
