Job Title: Instrument Technician

Type: Permanent

Location: Hampshire

Working Style: 8.30pm - 5pm

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 - Plus final salary pension Shares holidays relocation

What you will do:

A good level of computer literacy with an aptitude to learn new systems.
Ability to interpret and work from vendor manuals, drawing and P&IDs.
Fault finding, repair and preventative maintenance of a broad variety of instrumentation
An ability to write, review and follow detailed procedures.
Work experience on electrical equipment in hazardous areas.

About you:

A good general education to at least GCSE level. 5 GCSEs should be of grades A-C and must include English, Maths and Science.

Maintenance experience on at least some of the following:

distributed control systems
good knowledge of process measuring instrumentation (temp, pressure, level, flow)
pneumatic and electronic d.p. cells / controllers / switches
pneumatic and electronic realy logic
pneumatic and electronic valve positioners
hydraulic control systems
following online and offline test procedures
