As the owner of your own Coversure brokerage, you’ll lead your business across strategy, staffing, sales and compliance. Whether you want to work from home or from a local office, we’ll provide the tools and expertise you need to succeed.
What we’re looking for
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who:
- Have at least 5 years of general UK insurance experience, ideally in a broking, underwriting or client-facing role.
- Understand how to grow and manage a profitable insurance business.
- Are passionate about delivering excellent service and building long-term relationships.
- Are comfortable with business planning, performance management and goal setting.
- Have managed or mentored staff and can build and lead a team.
- Are confident in managing systems, data, procedures and people.
- Are ready to take responsibility for your own success and build something long-term
Key responsibilities
Business strategy and planning:
- Define your business’s goals, budget and operational plans
- Lead local marketing and new business development strategies
- Plan for growth, risk management and business continuity
Sales, service and insurance operations:
- Manage daily operations and oversee client service standards
- Handle complex cases and act as a technical referral point
- Monitor KPIs, conversion rates and retention to meet income targets
- Maintain service excellence across new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments
- Adhere to Coversure’s core operational processes and FCA guidelines
Team leadership and HR:
- Recruit, train and manage staff to deliver high performance
- Implement appraisals, development plans and effective onboarding
- Create a positive culture aligned with Coversure’s values and standards
Compliance and risk management:
- Ensure full regulatory compliance including TCF, AML, GDPR and conduct rules
- Embed a culture of risk awareness and strong governance
- Cooperate with central teams for audits, updates and system changes
Finance and office oversight:
- Manage business finances including budgeting, payroll and solvency
- Liaise with accountants, ensure accurate reporting and monitor cash flow
- Set up and maintain office facilities, systems and key business controls
