Description

A leading international law firm is hiring a contentious insurance lawyer to join its London-based financial services practice. This is an opportunity to work on high-value, complex matters for major insurers, financial institutions and corporate clients, within a market leading team.

The role

You’ll advise and represent insurers, policyholders and financial services firms across a varied caseload, including:

Insurance coverage and policy interpretation across major lines
Defence work, complex commercial litigation and arbitrations
Financial services disputes and contentious regulatory matters, including FCA/PRA investigations, supervision projects and broader regulatory risk
Remediation and redress schemes (design, drafting and implementation)
FOS complaints and related disputes
Profit share and commission disputes and other broker/distribution issues

What the firm is looking for

1–6 years’ PQE in England & Wales in contentious insurance and/or financial services disputes
Confident client skills and a proactive approach to business development

A team-oriented mindset, with the drive to build a practice long term
