Job Purpose
At United Utilities, we're committed to achieving integrated water management, creating lasting benefits for communities, the environment, and future generations. As part of our ambitious PR24 business plan (Stronger, Greener, Healthier North West), we’re scaling up our efforts to deliver integrated water management through deeper collaboration with partner organisations such as local authorities, NGOs, landowners and flood risk management authorities.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of building and delivering that integrated approach working across Cumbria and Lancashire to align plans, identify shared challenges and unlock innovative, partnership-led opportunities.
You’ll need a good understanding of planning frameworks, nature-based solutions, and the value of partnership working. Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is a proactive mindset that can challenge the status quo and explore new ways of working.
If you’re passionate about creating positive change and want to play a key role in delivering a more sustainable and collaborative approach to water management in the North West, we’d love to hear from you.
