ROLE SUMMARY:
As the Integration Engineer you will part of Cash-in team, you will be a proactive contributor, often working independently and directly with stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in shaping the data agenda, driving discussions, and influencing decision-making. You may also mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of data capabilities across the team.
This role focuses on the Cash-in domain, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Collections. You will have experience working on financial data projects in multinational environments, particularly those leveraging SAP and Oracle technologies. You should be comfortable navigating complex data landscapes and quickly acquiring business knowledge to support data-driven decision-making.
Experience with Agile delivery methods is desirable, along with the ability to apply appropriate data analysis and engineering techniques. As development and integration work may be handled by third parties, experience supporting large outsourced initiatives is also valuable.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Partnering with product owners and stakeholders to define and refine data requirements for Cash-in initiatives.
- Designing and implementing robust data pipelines and models to support billing, collections, and financial reporting.
- Analysing and interpreting large datasets to uncover insights and support roadmap planning.
- Maintaining and prioritising the data backlog in collaboration with the product owner.
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensure data stories meet readiness criteria.
- Working across teams to ensure alignment on data priorities and sprint/release goals.
- Managing your own workload and collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders with minimal supervision.
- Coordinating with analysts and engineers from partner organisations on data-related projects.
- Contributing across the project lifecycle
- Using standard templates, tools, and internal processes consistently.
- Building strong relationships with business stakeholders and act as a data advocate.
- Staying current with industry trends in data engineering, analytics, and financial systems.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- Experience with data integration tools and ETL/ELT frameworks
- Familiarity with SAP, ORMB (CCB / RMB), ERP Fusion, and Oracle EBS (Order Mgmt, Billing, AR, GL, Cash Mgmt)
- Understanding of financial data flows and Order-to-Cash processes
- Experience with scripting for data transformation
- Exposure to TFM (Transaction Feed Manager) and pricing engines
- Ability to analyse and detail functional and technical data requirements
- Experience working across the full data lifecycle in Agile environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience in billing, credit management, and revenue analytics
- Knowledge of Agile delivery and DevOps practices
- Certifications in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Technical Analysis are a plus
- Training in Agile, SDLC, or data methodologies is desirable
