What will I be bringing to life in this role?
We’re looking for a technically skilled Integration & Support Developer to join our multi-disciplinary team as we expand into the North American market. This hybrid role combines hands-on integration delivery with 3rd line support responsibilities, ensuring our platform integrates seamlessly with client systems and performs reliably.
You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to design, implement, and support integrations with systems such as student records, finance, and access control. You’ll also play a key role in diagnosing and resolving complex issues, contributing to our continuous improvement and customer satisfaction goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations, imports and exports
- Write clear specifications for Integration work for mutual sign off
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of our integration strategy and tooling.
- Provide 3rd line support for complex issues, including root cause analysis, performance tuning, and bug fixing.
- Triage and escalate issues to the development team where appropriate.
- Document integration processes and support resolutions to build internal knowledge.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and the rollout of new features.
- Participate in a support rota covering UK and CST hours.
What will I need to hit the ground running?
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and API integration (REST/JSON).
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
- Solid understanding of C#, Angular and Razor in a production environment.
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems (e.g., student records, finance, access control).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team.
What extras will make me thrive?
As part of the Kinetic team, you will benefit from:
- Working for an organisation where people and culture genuinely matter.
- Working in a sector that becomes an extension to your team, with many opportunities to network, travel and learn.
- Excellent training and support with the opportunity for further professional development.
- Performance-related bonus scheme.
- 25 days annual holiday allowance plus bank holidays off.
- 2 wellbeing days a year to rest and recharge.
- 2 community/charity paid days.
- Christmas shut-down period for a well-deserved break.
- Company contribution to pension.
- A flexible benefits package, which is customisable by you. You can choose from private health care, life assurance, personal development, cinema tickets, wide range of discounts at retailers and so much more!
Kinetic provides excellent working environments at its offices, including kitchens with free breakfast, tea, coffee, and refreshments. Our social committee organises activities and events throughout the year, and you’ll have the opportunity to do charitable work within the local community.
