We are currently working with one of our clients to recruit an interim Finance Director while we launch the permanent search.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with extensive experience leading a Finance Team. The ideal candidate should possess strong foundational knowledge in investment accounting and have a passion for developing and managing high-performing teams.

The focus is also to manage the Finance team on all financial responsibilities, including transaction processing, monthly reconciliations and management accounting, year-end audit management and annual financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, private investment asset valuations, cash flow management, FCA reporting, tax & VAT returns.

Key Deliverable for the Interim Assignment:

• Finance team leadership
• The budget and long-term forecasting process to be presented to the Board in December.
• The year-end for our organisation is December 31. As a result, there is a tight and compressed timetable in March and April due to the FCA filing deadline and the need to conduct a complex valuation process for private asset investments at year-end.
• Overseeing tax returns (a complex task); in addition, we need to run a tax planning exercise (obtaining external advice)
• Audit Risk & Compliance Committee (Board committee) reporting

As this is an interim assignment and they want someone who can hit the ground running, you must have an investment background and extensive experience delivering very complex tax returns.
