Interim Financial Controller

Eames are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Private Equity backed energy business to support their search for an Interim Financial Controller.

Duration - 6 months initially

Salary - c£500 per day

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk, ensuring optimal financial health

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
• Team management experience
• Some travel will be required on an ad-hoc basis
• Extensive financial reporting experience
