Interim Financial Controller - ED62939

Eton Bridge Partners are partnering with a rapidly scaling logistics business to recruit a technically strong and commercially astute Interim Financial Controller. This is a 6 month assignment, providing vital support to the CFO in identifying financial and operational challenges, implementing solutions, and ensuring finance processes are aligned with the pace of the company’s growth.

Location: South West London (3-4 days a week in office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present weekly financial results within strict deadlines.
• Lead weekly forecasting and follow through on resulting action plans.
• Produce monthly management accounts with detailed performance and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, target monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, accruals, and VAT compliance.
• Take ownership of statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit process.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement process improvements.
• Contribute to group reporting, including multi-currency consolidation and costing analysis.

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA).
• Strong audit foundation, ideally gained from a top-tier firm.
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role.
• Prior experience in the aviation or logistics sector is highly advantageous.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, group reporting structures, and multi-currency environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in cash flow management, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is a plus.
