Interim Financial Controller (Indonesian Experience) - EC62509

Our high-growth infrastructure client require an experienced Interim Financial Controller to provide strategic and operational support to one of their assets based in Indonesia, you will be required to travel to Indonesia for a week every month, and prior professional experience working in Indonesia is a strict requirement. This role is critical in enhancing the financial function's professionalism, controls, and alignment with broader group standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of robust financial controls, processes, and reporting standards in line with group expectations.
• Drive best-practice utilisation of the ERP system to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Assess the current finance team’s capabilities and recommend optimal structure and resourcing to support future growth.
• Provide hands-on leadership in a lean finance environment, fostering a culture of rigour and accountability.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating in Indonesia is essential, with a strong understanding of local financial practices and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success in asset-intensive or infrastructure sectors, ideally with exposure to capex-heavy and working capital-focused business models.
• Pragmatic and collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and elevate standards in a dynamic setting.
