Interim US GAAP Financial Reporting Consultant (Contract)

An established international organisation is seeking an Interim US GAAP Financial Reporting Consultant to support a US GAAP conversion project and the transition of financial reporting activities from an external provider to an in-house finance function. This role will play a key part in strengthening internal processes and supporting external reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the transition of US GAAP conversion and reporting activities from an external advisory firm to the internal finance team
• Assist in establishing internal processes, controls, and workpapers specific to US GAAP accounting and reporting
• Prepare accounting papers, including technical accounting research, and related disclosures for quarterly and annual group reporting
• Respond to queries from external auditors in relation to US GAAP accounting and reporting
• Contribute to ad hoc and one-off finance projects as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong technical accounting background
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP (highly desirable)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience supporting financial reporting, conversions, or complex accounting projects
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
