Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst – High-Growth Tech Environment

The Role

The client, a fast-scaling company in the technology sector, is seeking a commercially minded FP&A professional to join their expanding finance team.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving operational efficiency across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

Contributing to the annual budgeting cycle and ongoing forecasting processes
Developing and maintaining financial models to support liquidity planning and performance analysis
Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packs for internal leadership
Performing variance analysis and interpreting trends to highlight key business drivers
Partnering with teams across the organisation to gather data and understand operational impacts
Monitoring cost trends and identifying opportunities for savings and improved efficiency
Ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial information across systems and reports
Supporting the enhancement of financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
Handling ad-hoc financial analysis for senior finance leaders and business stakeholders
Assisting with the preparation of materials for board-level and investor presentations

About You

3–5 years’ experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business control—ideally within a tech-focused organisation (SaaS, cloud, or AI-related industries are advantageous)
Solid grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling best practices
Proficient in Excel; experience with tools such as NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, and modern BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a passion for data-led insights
Confident communicator who can distil financial data into clear, actionable narratives
Comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment
Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
