Overview

A PE-backed, tech-enabled business with £50m turnover is looking for a commercially focused FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to provide data-driven insight, support strategic decisions, and enhance reporting for both internal stakeholders and investors. Strong Power BI experience is essential to help build and maintain dashboards that track key financial and operational KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support real-time decision-making across finance, operations, and commercial teams
• Analyse business performance, identify trends, and provide clear insight into financial and non-financial KPIs
• Partner with stakeholders to challenge assumptions, improve planning accuracy, and drive accountability
• Support board and investor reporting, including preparation of packs and scenario modelling
• Refine and develop financial models and planning tools
• Support the tracking of performance against the investment case and strategic goals

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong FP&A and commercial finance experience
• Experience in a PE-backed, tech-enabled, or high-growth business
• Proven expertise in Power BI and building reporting dashboards from scratch
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
• Comfortable working with large data sets and translating them into actionable insight
• Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and confident working with non-finance stakeholders
• Hands-on, adaptable, and available at short notice if interim
