Are you a seasoned engineering leader ready to make a meaningful impact in the media world? We're on the lookout for an Interim Head of Engineering to help shape the next chapter of our clients digital platform.

Start: September | Length: 3–6 months | Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in-office, London)

Scope: 3 engineering teams, ~15 engineers

You’ll take the reins of three fast-moving, product-driven engineering teams that power a high-traffic website, growing apps, and commercial streams. With experienced Engineering Managers in place, your role is not about code, it’s about strategy, coaching, and leading leaders.

This is your chance to lead impactful work in, guide talented managers, and influence how millions experience our clients services.

What you’ll bring

• Proven leadership across multiple engineering teams
• Experience in mid-sized tech orgs (~150–200 people, with ownership of circa 15-30)
• Strong product and delivery instincts
• Ideally, media or ad-tech experience
• You’re not looking to write code, you’re here to lead and inspire

Tech context:

• AWS, BigQuery
• TypeScript, Scala
• Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift)
• High-availability systems & platforms
• App ownership
