Interim Head of Financial Operations

Interim Head of Transactional Finance, Media, £600pd+, Central London

Altum Consulting are recruiting for an interim Head of Transactional Finance to join a Global Media business based in central London. The successful candidate will lead a large transactional finance team in a high-volume environment and oversee all accounts payable, receivable and credit control areas.

Role:

• Lead a 30 strong Transactional Finance Team.
• Ensure compliance with governance and risk frameworks, proactively identifying and mitigating risks while maintaining robust controls across financial operations.
• Report on key operational finance KPIs such as overdue debt, timing of payments, and unreconciled transactions.
• Embed continual process improvement to the Finance Operations function.

You'll be/have:

• A Qualified Accountant/QBE with significant experience leading large transactional finance teams.
• Big company complex background (US experience desired, not essential)
• Ability to plan and prioritise team workload ensuring deadlines are met and queries are resolved quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
• Available immediately/short notice period.
