Interim Head of Transfer Pricing

Location: London / Hybrid working available

Length: 6 Months

This is a high-impact role within our Group Tax Function, responsible for setting and delivering our global transfer pricing strategy and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll act as a key advisor on M&A, integrations, dissolutions, and other commercial projects. You will be reporting to the Head of Tax and have 1 direct report.

What You'll Do

• Lead the company’s global transfer pricing policy and ensure full compliance with international regulations (OECD/local).
• Partner on global strategy supporting M&A, structural changes, and business transformations.
• Own compliance and documentation, including Country-by-Country Reporting, benchmarking, and statutory TP calculations.
• Advise globally delivering practical, commercial TP advice to senior finance, HR, treasury, and operational teams.
• Design and maintain best-in-class transfer pricing policies aligned with evolving tax landscapes.
• Monitor regulatory changes and proactively adjust group-wide approaches.
• Structure intercompany transactions to support strategic objectives.
• Oversee all transfer pricing calculations and tools.
• Manage documentation, local file reviews, and global benchmarking.
• Lead discussions with tax authorities on transfer pricing matters.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business.
• Offer pragmatic, commercial solutions to complex TP queries and global projects.
• Support key transformation initiatives and cross-border transactions.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisers.

What You Bring

• ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• 12+ years of UK and international tax/transfer pricing experience, either in practice or in-house.
• Proven expertise in TP policy, documentation, and advisory.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with TP technology is a plus.
