Interim Senior Accountant

Our client has an urgent requirement for a post-qualified accountant to join them on a 6 month fixed-term contract to assist the Financial Controller with day-to-day running of the finance function.

The role will be varied and duties will improve

• Ensuring month end close is completed on time and producing draft accounts
• Production of monthly management accounts
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Working closely with commercial team and providing technical assistance where appropriate
• Working closely with FP&A, tax and treasury teams
• Ad hoc project work

The successful candidate will be a post-qualified individual who is happy to commit to the duration of a 6 month role and will be someone who is happy to parachute in turn their hand to whatever is presented to them.

As well as being technically adept, advanced Excel skills are essential and Power BI knowledge would be highly advantageous.

This role will be hybrid after a short bedding in period.
