We're supporting a global client seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to strengthen their External Reporting Team, supporting key financial operations and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and submission of external financial reports in line with IFRS/local GAAP requirements.
- Manage and review complex reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies.
- Coordinate and execute accurate indirect tax calculations including VAT, ensuring timely filings and compliance.
- Partner with internal and external auditors during statutory audits and support related audit deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance controls and documentation around financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with tax advisors and internal teams on indirect tax strategy and jurisdictional compliance.
- Support continuous improvement of systems, processes, and reporting tools.
Your Background
- Professional qualification (ACCA / ACA / CPA / CA) or equivalent.
- Audit experience from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on external reporting or group finance.
- Strong knowledge of indirect taxes, VAT, and tax calculations across various jurisdictions.
- Solid understanding of financial reconciliations and reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
