Interim Tax Reporting and Compliance Consultant - LH63172

We are currently supporting a global business, following its recent acquisition by a major U.S. company. As part of this transition, the company is seeking an experienced Interim Tax Reporting and Compliance Consultant to support the Global Head of Tax and lead key reporting and compliance activities.

This is a fully remote, six-month assignment offering the opportunity to work across a complex international tax landscape, with a particular focus on UK tax and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will act as a strategic right hand to the Global Head of Tax, helping to drive forward quarterly reporting, compliance reviews, and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead quarterly tax reporting by gathering and consolidating global data into a centralised process.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Global Head of Tax, particularly in relation to the newly acquired business.
• Liaise with finance teams and local financial controllers to manage international compliance reviews.
• Oversee forecasting for cash taxes and support SAO-related activities.
• Review UK tax compliance across 8 entities, with broader oversight of international entities managed by PwC.

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced tax professional with strong UK tax expertise and exposure to international tax environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex reporting and compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions.
• High emotional intelligence and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple workstreams in a remote setting.
• Available immediately or at short notice for a six-month interim contract.
